Before your appointment
Do I need a consultation first?
Every treatment starts with a consultation. Separate consultations are free, either in person or by phone, and are recommended if you have existing permanent makeup or any health questions. You can book one on Booksy.
Do I need a patch test?
A patch test is needed at least 48 hours before your first appointment. Holly will let you know when booking.
Is there anything I should avoid beforehand?
Avoid alcohol, caffeine and blood-thinning painkillers such as aspirin or ibuprofen for 24 hours before. Do not tan, have facials or use retinol on the area for two weeks before treatment.
Who is not suitable for permanent makeup?
Treatment is not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding, during chemotherapy, or with some skin and health conditions. If you are unsure, get in touch before booking and Holly will advise you.
Results and healing
How long does permanent makeup last?
Most semi-permanent makeup lasts between one and three years depending on the technique, your skin and how much sun it gets. An annual top-up every 12 to 18 months keeps it looking fresh.
Do I need a second session?
Yes. Brows, lips and eyeliner need a perfecting session five to six weeks after the first treatment, once your skin has healed. It is booked separately and costs £100.
Will it look natural?
That is the aim of everything Holly does. Shapes are designed around your features and pigments are matched to your skin tone and hair colour, so the result looks like you on a good day.

Where do you work?
Holly works from her Sunningdale studio near Ascot from Monday to Friday, and from Studio XII in Virginia Water on Saturdays. Choose your location when you book.
