Powder browsin Ascot and Sunningdale

Powder brows are created with a fine machine that builds up tiny dots of pigment. The effect is a soft, diffused brow, lighter at the front and gently defined towards the tail, like a brow filled in with powder.

The shading can be kept barely there for everyday wear or built up for a more polished, defined look.

Who it suits

  • All skin types, including oily and combination skin
  • Clients who already fill in their brows with powder or pencil
  • Anyone who wants a longer-lasting result than microblading

How it works

  1. Consultation

We talk through the look you want, your skin, your medical history and anything that might affect healing. Consultations are free, in person or by phone, and a patch test is done at least 48 hours before treatment.

  2. Design

Holly measures and maps the shape to your features, then chooses a pigment to suit your skin tone. Nothing is tattooed until you are completely happy with the design in the mirror.

  3. Treatment

A topical numbing cream keeps you comfortable throughout. Most clients describe the feeling as light scratching rather than pain.

  4. Perfecting session

You return five to six weeks later, once the skin has healed, so Holly can refine the shape and build colour where it is needed. Powder brows look darker for the first week, then soften to their true shade.

Aftercare

  • Keep brows dry for the first 7 days and gently blot any fluid on day one.
  • Avoid makeup, saunas, swimming and heavy exercise while they heal.
  • Expect brows to look bold at first. They soften by around 30 to 40 percent as they heal.
  • Use SPF on healed brows to protect the colour.

You will receive full written aftercare on the day.

Questions

What is the difference between powder brows and microblading?

Microblading creates individual hair strokes by hand. Powder brows use a machine to build soft shading. Powder brows last longer and suit oily skin better, while hair strokes give the most natural texture.

Will powder brows look too heavy?

Not once healed. The colour looks stronger for the first week, then settles to a soft, natural finish. Holly can keep the density as light as you like.
