Skin boostersin Ascot and Sunningdale

Skin boosters are injections of hyaluronic acid placed just under the surface of the skin. They draw in moisture from within, improving hydration, texture, elasticity and fine lines without changing the shape of your face.

Holly offers two of the best known. Profhilo spreads through the skin to hydrate and firm, and is ideal for laxity on the face and neck. Seventy Hyal is designed to stimulate the skin's own collagen and elastin for smoother, brighter skin.

Who it suits

How it works

  1. Consultation

    Holly checks your medical history and assesses your skin to recommend the right product.

  2. Treatment

    After cleansing, the product is placed with a small number of very fine injections.

  3. Course

    A second session follows around four weeks later, with Seventy Hyal usually given as a course of three.

Aftercare

  • Avoid makeup for 12 hours and touching the area for the rest of the day.
  • Skip saunas, intense exercise and alcohol for 24 hours.
  • Small bumps and pinpricks are normal and settle within a day or two.

You will receive full written aftercare on the day.

Questions

Are skin boosters the same as fillers?

No. Fillers add volume to change shape. Skin boosters spread through the skin to improve hydration and quality, so the result is fresher skin rather than a different look.

Profhilo or Seventy Hyal?

Profhilo is best for hydration and early laxity, especially on the lower face and neck. Seventy Hyal focuses on texture, fine lines and radiance. Holly will recommend one at consultation.
